Rochester, NY: AP Professionals is excited to announce the promotion of President Matt Taylor to CEO, as he takes over from Founder Mark Pautler. A celebrated leader in the recruiting industry, Pautler founded AP in 1996 to bring meaningful connections to professionals and businesses in Western New York.
“The time is right,” Pautler shared of the transition. “Our culture is in a great place, and Matt’s ideas have been foundational in positioning AP for another 25 years of success. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished and the leadership that Matt will continue to provide as CEO.”
Matt Taylor has been with AP Professionals for over 15 years, serving as President since 2017. A graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a BS in Accounting, Matt joined AP after beginning his career as a CPA. Under Pautler’s tutelage, he quickly developed a passion for recruiting and AP’s philosophy of creating and presenting opportunities that change lives.
In response to the transition, Taylor says: “The entire AP team and I have tremendous appreciation and admiration for Mark. We look forward to preserving a well-built house and continuing Mark’s legacy of building ‘relationships that last a lifetime’.”
As AP Professionals of Rochester transitions into their next phase, Pautler will continue to shepherd the business during this transition and help in the future, being available for strategic decision-making and day-to-day guidance.
