AP Professionals Internship

AP Professionals of Rochester has a longstanding relationship with the St. John Fisher College Business program through internal internship. Each year, an undergraduate business major is selected to intern with our Rochester Office. Our interns are provided hands-on recruiting experience under the guidance of our veteran recruiters. Current team members, Kim Bruno, Jennifer Garigen, Emmalyn Eruysal, Genevieve Paeglow, and Alexandria Prayne began their careers at AP through the business internship program.

AP Professionals of Rochester, LLC Scholarship

Established in 1996, The AP Professionals of Rochester, LLC Scholarship is awarded annually to two Accounting or Finance undergraduate students.  Our hope is that this scholarship might alleviate the need of a student having to work part-time, allowing for more concentrated study. Students must be in good academic standing and demonstrate a financial need to apply for this award.

Mock Interviews

Each fall, our recruiters lead mock interviews with SJFC accounting undergraduates. The mock interview includes 20 minutes of live, formal interviewing and five minutes of real-time feedback. Our recruiters follow-up with immediate, documented feedback for the students on what they did or did not do and what lead to their impressions cited. This behavioral, “proof-based” style interview ensures the best learning environment for the students.

Internship Symposium

The Internship Symposium provides the opportunity for student interns to connect with currently employed alumni in a field related to their major. Our Nazareth alumni facilitate conversations and interviews with the interns where they can describe key components of their internship. Alumni also serve as evaluators to provide recommendations and suggestions based on their own experiences.

Spring Job & Internship Fair

The annual networking and recruiting event is an opportunity for AP Professionals recruiters to connect with soon-to-be graduates of Nazareth College; each spring, we participate in this event to make ourselves more accessible to students. We accept resumes and discuss our job placement services.
