They are looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee their accounting department, as well as to help prepare journal entries, payables & receivables, account reconciliations, financial statements, monthly closings, and data analysis.   • Collaborate with the Finance Director to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Contracting Manager and others to ensure prompt and accurate payments to Partners
  • Ensure the timely accrual of monthly financial information
  • Prepare monthly bank, payroll, and revenue reconciliation schedules, and closing journal entries, as well as the review of monthly investment reconciliation
  • Advise and consult with Finance Director regarding the handling of non-routine accounting transactions
  • Perform accounting for multiple back-office contractual relationships, including general ledger reconciliations, billing and collections, vendor invoice maintenance and accounts payable
  • Inter-company expense allocation, generate invoices for billing back-office services, maintain receivables and follow-up on outstanding receivables
  • Review payments to be remitted to Agencies on a weekly basis
  • Ensure a timely and accurate process for allocating expenses to other divisions as appropriate


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.


  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in financial accounting
  • Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with not-for-profit organizations and grant accounting
  • Experience working with multi-entity organizations
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office
