Description
AP Professionals is actively seeking a temporary/contract Financial Aid Advisor for a local college! Position is projected to be about 3-4 months.
Responsibilities
The Financial Aid Counselor meets with students and assists them with completing their Federal and State applications for aid, puts together an award letter and explains the aid to the student, packages the aid in to the College's database, and tracks disbursements while troubleshooting any issues that may hold up funds being received.
Education
- AAS Degree or higher required
Experience
- 2+ years of administrative experience required
