AP has partnered with an educational institute to secure an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their team! This individual will be required to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Director of Services for Children. This is a temp-hire position with the hours of 8-4:30, 12 months a year. with pay of $17 hourly.  If you like working with faculty, staff and students in a thriving environment then we have a great opportunity for you.


  • To complete state-required forms, including but not limited to: Enrollment form, Related Services forms , BEDS Forms; and Medicaid forms
  • To maintain student enrollment records (Commissioner’s Appointment forms; PHC-10 forms; and STAC forms), monitor STAC data on the State’s STAC online system, and update student data on various reports and shared databases.
  • Under the direction of the Director of Business Operations, be responsible for the overall reporting of the Federal School Breakfast and Lunch Program, including but not limited to: eligibility for free/reduced lunch benefits through the DCMP database and application process, submission of monthly claims for reimbursements and maintenance of all records concerning student meals.
  • To collaborate with the Business Office by updating appropriate student data for the parents’ lunch bills and school districts’ invoices for student tuition and 611/619 funding.
  • Arranges, coordinates, and manages all logistics for the Committee on Special Education meetings, evaluation and intake meetings, and conferences.
  • To assist in the maintenance of files of current and former students’ records and process any student record requests
  • Performs general clerical duties as required including but not limited to generating correspondence for a variety of constituencies and acting as a primary point of contact for same
  • Interprets policies and procedures that are  established
  • To provide for own professional growth through an ongoing program of reading, workshops, seminars, and conferences for the purpose of keeping abreast of current developments in the field.
  • To assume any other assignments which are reasonable and appropriate
