Description

This newly created position will be responsible for developing the mapping for standard operating procedures. From start to finish, all flows of information will have a process map to insure that activities are properly controlled and maintained in accordance with policy and regulations.  This position will support the business by overseeing master data and providing support for the data's validity and safety. Additionally, this role is crucial in establishing more efficient processes and access to important data / information for business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, map, and analyze current processes, infrastructure & system data to capture business requirements and document current and future state through interaction with key business users, internal stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors
  • Work with internal clients at all levels of the organization and across functional areas to understand business processes and their integration with business systems (people, technology, procedures)
  • Identifies and provides recommendations to functional owners that improves business processes to maximize departmental efficiency
  • Acts as a liaison between functional areas to elicit, define, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to existing business processes, policies, technology, and information systems to alleviate business issues.
  • Provides recommendations to stakeholders regarding effective and efficient approaches to achieve project objectives. Completes analysis and prioritization of incoming requests.
  • Understands business problems specific to Company initiatives and opportunities through the use of quality tools; recommends solutions to management based on data analysis to enable the organization to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with key business users to promote the established business processes to ensure the quality of master data created
  • Provides support in resolving data quality problems with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards
  • Manages, analyzes, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet the requirements of business partners while adhering to published data standards
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the IT and business end-users
  • Participate in the implementation of new business and IT applications and technologies; ensure requirements and functional designs are accurate

Education

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.  In lieu of the required degree focus, experience of at least 8 years' of relevant experience will be considered.

Experience

  • Experience with complex, full business life-cycle ERP systems
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in operations or finance with a focus on the usage of information systems in those roles is required
  • Process management experience
