AP Professionals has partnered with growing company that is looking to add on a Business Development Representative. Newly created and open due to growth! The Business Development Representative will prospect and identify new business opportunities for the Company to grow. Identify decision makers, generate interest, set up meetings, and work with the marketing and sales team. Recent graduates with a business or marketing background are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

  • Find new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and email campaigns.
  • Nurture and develop cold leads with the ultimate goal of evolving them into qualified opportunities for the Company.
  • Follow internal procedures and processes that include tracking all communications, contacts, and opportunities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of products and services through shadowing and communicating with internal personnel. Translate information to concise written and verbal communications that can be conveyed to prospects.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Executives for further development and closure.
  • Achieve quarterly metrics and quotas.
  • Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources and investigate potential accounts. Identify key players based on active marketing and sales campaign requirements.
  • Learn computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and other tools as they are identified.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree desired

Experience

  • Previous business development experience within the healthcare industry a plus
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to communicate professionally through written and verbal communications within the company and with prospects; excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and able to deal well with change and ambiguity.
