AP Professionals has partnered with a local manufacturing company that is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their growing team! The CNC Machine Operator will maintain production, operate machinery, and work with Toolmakers and Fabrication Leads. Multiple levels available! 1-4+ years of proven experience as a Machine Operator in a CNC machining/fabrication production environment is required.

This position is a direct hire, full-time opportunity.

This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.


  • Operate CNC machines in order to build production work order. Load, unload, clean, and inspect parts.
  • Conduct in-process inspection of components to ensure quality. Utilize precision measuring instruments and read and understand part drawings and basic GD&T.
  • Identify issues that may require adjustment of machine settings.
  • Perform job tasking, line clearance, and production reporting of work orders.
  • Operate part washer.
  • Monitor and update shop floor visual board.
  • Start CNC machines, load programs, and set up jobs independently.
  • Review program to determine what tool needs an offset and make the correct offset.
  • Rapidly recognize non-standard equipment/process performance.
  • Run multiple production part numbers on CNC machine with no supervision.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.


  • 1-4+ years’ experience as a Machine Operator working in CNC machining/fabrication production environment required.
  • Knowledge of end mills, drills, reamers, and assessment of tool condition.
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
