Description

AP Professionals has partnered with a Real Estate Developer & Property Management Company located in Down Town Rochester who is looking to add an HR Office Manager to their team! This is a Direct Hire position with great learning and growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll along with associated reporting and funding processes.
  • Coordinate all benefit administration including leave programs and workers compensation.
  • Fill staffing requirements using recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit, hire, and onboard new employees to support business needs.
  • Manage and support employee engagement events including monthly team lunches, team building events and participate on events planning committee.
  • Maintain employee files and other confidential HR records to meet privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Maintains relationships with vendors to support the needs of company employees.
  • Prepare lease abstracts and completed transaction details.
  • Coordinate internal IT requests and provide first level support.
  • Manage company cell phone program.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar program,

Experience

  • 3 + years’ experience in an HR generalist or HR administration role.
  • 2 + years’ in a dedicated office management or administrative support roles providing direct support to multiple people.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel including formulas and pivot tables.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Proficient user of business software applications and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and report writing software.
