Engineering Manager

AP Professionals has partnered with a precision machined parts manufacturer looking for an Engineering Manager. The Engineering Manager will lead a team within manufacturing process development, and support. Candidates who are results oriented and possess strong leadership experience within a high precision machine shop are encouraged to apply!

• Lead the Engineering group in process development and improvement as a collaborative team.
• Evaluate team skill levels and implement talent development objectives.
• Partner with Sales to foster a customer focused quoting and new product introduction process.
• Proactively engage customers and suppliers and, as necessary, support corrective actions.
• Provide technical and manufacturing engineering support to Quality, Manufacturing and Materials.
• Implement and sustain manufacturing processes within the ERP system with full shop integration.

• Bachelor of Science in a Technical discipline

• 10+ years of engineering experience within a high precision machine shop
• 5+ year’s of direct supervision / leadership experience.
• Highly proficient at blueprint reading, GDT, Mastercam software.
• Auto Cad, NX, and Part Maker experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, and Hiedenhain controls preferred.
• AS9100, ITAR, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing experience a strong plus.
