This new position is with a growing company in the manufacturing / logistics space.  The FP&A Manager will work with all of the operational teams to support the planning, budgeting, and  analysis necessary in order to achieve company success.  Working closely with the CFO and Controller, this person will lead the evolution of the company's reporting capabilities.


  • Prepare monthly reporting package that includes financial statements and operational reports
  • Track company-wide performance against budget via monthly and quarterly forecast updates
  • Assist in the development and communication of key financial metrics to create transparency into financial performance and inform strategic and operational decisions
  • Partners with the operations team to enhance their knowledge of financial levers, KPI's, and budgeting.
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.
  • Develop models and forecasts of future business activities using multiple scenarios
  • Analyze large data sets to identify trends and develop insightful reporting.
  • Analyze current and past trends in KPI's including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures


This position requires a minimum of BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related quantitative field.


  • 5 + years of accounting or finance experience with emphasis in FP&A
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Suite
  • ERP experience, preferred
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Prior manufacturing industry experience is a plus

  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Self-starter, with strong ability to work with minimal direction and to set effective project plans
  • Works comfortably with incomplete information and deals with ambiguity in a dynamic, high pressure environment
  • Extraordinarily detail oriented and focus on accuracy; able to translate big-picture analysis while never losing sight of the finer points
  • Strong work ethic and team-first attitude: humility and someone intellectually curious make for a high-level contributor
