The human resources manager is responsible for all of the human resources activities, including payroll, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, and employment practices compliance matters for a local manufacturing company that employs approximately 140 people. This position participates on the company's management team in order to execute the strategic initiatives of the company. The ideal candidate is someone who has a commitment to their human resources career and is able to pro-actively lead the human resources function with regard to current laws, practices, and trends fitting the environment.
A bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience is required. A PHR / SPHR certification is desirable.
