Description

AP Professionals has partnered with a manufacturing company in search of an Inventory Manager. The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing all inventory activities including stock levels, cycle counts, order requirements, and trend analysis of certain parts. Autonomy to simply processes and ensure efficiency. Must have at least 3 years of accounting experience and 10 years of inventory experience.

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of inventory
  • Determine adjustments based on cycle counts
  • Ensure accuracy of inventories
  • Revise outbound shipments
  • Ensure shipments are billed on time
  • Work closely with the Purchasing and Logistics Manager
  • Check receipts from technicians and ensure accurate crediting
  • Ensure parts are returned to stock, implement new ideas to enhance the return process
  • Oversee stock levels
  • Collaborate with purchasing and logistics managers to determine order requirements
  • Perform trending analysis of inventory levels of certain parts.
  • Monitor 3rd party warehouses
  • Oversee the inventory catalog
  • Determined ways to simplify processes and improve efficiency
  • Perform regular audits to ensure compliance

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or operations

Experience

  • 10+ years in an inventory management or related role
  • 3+ years of accounting experience is required
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage 100
  • Experience with Service Management Systems
