AP Professionals has partnered with a manufacturer looking to add a Product Marketing Manager to their growing and established team. The Product Marketing Manager will optimize the already existing markets and identify and execute new marketing applications in order to drive significant revenue growth. 10+ years of prior progressive product marketing, sales, and/or business development in a manufacturer required.


  • Develop business plans for new market and application in order to leverage the Company’s product lines
  • Develop and implement a repeatable and adaptable process in order to identify and define target market and applications as well as research, analyze and quantify marketing opportunities. Develop marketing and sales strategies and programs including measurable goals of success and articulate product fit in the market /application and competitive differentiation. Create pricing, revenue and profitability projections and pilot test new programs. Execute and implement marketing and sales strategies.
  • Speak with customers, channel partners and other prospects in order to identify new application and market gaps and opportunities for the Company
  • Collaborate with Product R&D, Engineering, Marketing Communications and Sales to develop and execute new business programs
  • Hire, train, develop and evaluate staff. Develop a high performing team to implement and repeat an adaptable business development process.
  • Build and maintain collaborative, team oriented relationships with customers, channel partners and internal colleagues
  • Assist in the product development process with application and market research.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such a ROI of new product concepts, sales revenue and margin forecasts, market share, capital requirements, etc.
  • Develop new marketing segments consistent with the overall company strategic plan and product brand strategy


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent experience in replacement required
  • Master’s degree a plus


  • 10+ years of progressive product marketing, sales and/or business development experience with a manufacturer required
  • Experience within the electronics instrument/device industry
  • Experience in growing E-commerce sales within industrial markets
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development and engineering practices.
  • Prior experience working directly with industrial market customers and channel partners
  • Demonstrated leadership capability required
  • Project financial analysis experience required

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are needed.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced organization with a sense of urgency
  • Moderate travel may be needed
  • Delegation, coaching and performance management skills including recognition and critical feedback.
  • Strong project management skill-set able to manage teams (with limited direct authority) and deliverables under tight time pressure
  • Able to lead a team in process improvement and provide measurement and progress towards error proofing.
