Description

AP Professionals has partnered with a food manufacturer looking to add a Purchasing and Scheduling Coordinator to their team. Open due to internal growth in the company! The Purchasing and Scheduling Coordinator will assist with scheduling materials and purchasing supplies to ensure the production lines can run as planned. This position is great for a recent graduate who is capable of multi-tasking and changing tasks on the fly!

This position offers significant room for growth and a great team culture. This is a direct hire, full-time role with hours of 8:30AM – 5:00PM, Monday – Friday.

This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Review reports in the system and determine the materials required to meet the production demands.
  • Review manufacturing schedule and plan delivery to support production.
  • Enter purchase requisitions in ERP, and after approval raises requisition to a PO.
  • Update purchase orders for any changes to pricing and /or delivery dates.
  • Monitor the delivery of supplies to support production daily. Communicate with departments on delays that could impact production.
  • Monitor workflow performance to plan, and adjust when needed.
  • Monitor inventory and place orders for Non-Inventory materials to support production.
  • Work with Quality, Production and Suppliers to resolve any Non- conforming issues.
  • Enter and maintain production job information in ERP system.

Education

  • High School Diploma with a combination of required work experience

Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in a clerical, administrative, or purchasing support position
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
  • Ability to effectively multi-task is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, to include customers and vendors
