Description

AP Professionals has partnered with growing company that is looking to add on a Business Development Representative. Newly created and open due to growth! The Business Development Representative will prospect and identify new business opportunities for the Company to grow. Identify decision makers, generate interest, set up meetings, and work with the marketing and sales team. Candidates must have previous experience with Salesforce! Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

This is a full-time position that offers advancement and growth within the Company. Base Pay of 50K + 70-80K OTE

This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Find new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and email campaigns.
  • Nurture and develop leads with the ultimate goal of evolving them into qualified opportunities for the Company and passing them along to the Sales Executives.
  • Maintain active engagement with Leads until they are ready.
  • Track communications, contacts, and opportunities through Salesforce.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of products and services through shadowing and communicating with internal personnel. Translate information to concise written and verbal communications that can be conveyed to prospects. Follow a regimented training schedule with the team in order to successfully onboard and continue to grow.
  • Perform relevant research to confirm ideal customer profile and valid business reasons for pursuit.
  • Research and determine key buyers.
  • Perform an initial presentation that demonstrates the product capabilities that align with solving prospects challenges
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Executives for further development and closure.
  • Achieve quarterly metrics and quotas.
  • Partner with and coordinate calls with Enterprise Sales Vice Presidents (ESVPs).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree desired

Experience

  • Must have experience with Salesforce
  • Previous business development experience within the healthcare industry a plus
