Senior Facilities Technician

AP Professionals has partnered with a manufacturing company in search of a Senior Facilities Technician for the A shift. This position is extremely hands-on, involving maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment. Responsible for determining issues and suggesting areas of improvement within equipment to increase production efficiency. Must have 5-10 years of manufacturing maintenance experience and have automation experience.

This is a Full Time, Direct Hire opportunity offering excellent benefits.

• Perform hands on maintenance of production machines
• Offer maintenance for buildings, grounds, utilities, and the industrial plant
• Ensure that machines meet operational standards
• Work on mechanical and hydraulic machine parts
• Collaborate with the facility manager to ensure inventory of maintenance materials
• Run tests on machines after repairs are done
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Suggest ways to improve operations, machine conditions, and reduce costs
• Inspect machines to determine problem areas and ensure conformance with standards
• Maintain OSHA compliance
• Engage in troubleshooting of equipment
• Performs general carpentry, painting and building repairs along with seasonal snow removal
• Replace broken equipment parts
• Perform clean ups and prepare storage areas
• Ensure safety of employees

• 5 – 10 years of manufacturing maintenance experience

• Must be COVID vaccinated
• Knowledge of automation equipment and HVAC
• Ability to hold others accountable
• Have a sense of urgency
