The ideal candidate will blend technical prowess with adept management and sales abilities to comprehend client requirements, showcase the company's offerings, and foster enduring collaborations. This office-based role necessitates the selected candidate to reside within commuting distance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive technical and pricing proposals, collaborating with engineering and project management teams to include system specifications, project timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct meticulous technical assessments of client requirements, offering expert advice on integrating our interior communication systems into defense platforms effectively.
  • Craft and deliver engaging technical presentations and demonstrations to government and industry decision-makers, illustrating the advantages and capabilities of our solutions.
  • Tailor product offerings to meet the specific needs of defense projects, addressing client concerns and specifications.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders in the defense industry, such as military personnel, procurement officers, and defense contractors.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in communication technologies and defense trends to offer strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Represent our company at defense industry trade shows, conferences, and events, showcasing our solutions and establishing a network of industry contacts.
  • Generate technical content highlighting the value proposition of our products in defense applications.
  • Provide ongoing post-sales technical support to clients, resolving any technical inquiries or issues encountered during the implementation and operation of our systems.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related technical discipline. A Master's degree is advantageous. Military experience of equivalent caliber will be taken into account.

Experience

  • Proficiency in telephony hardware and software, encompassing PBX systems, gateways, routers, and VoIP technologies.
  • Practical experience in telephony system administration and troubleshooting.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Thorough understanding of industry standards and protocols pertinent to telephony.
  • Demonstrated track record in technical sales within the defense sector, particularly in communication systems or associated domains.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of interior communication systems utilized in naval vessels or defense platforms.
  • Profound grasp of military procurement procedures, standards, and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation aptitude, adept at elucidating intricate technical concepts with clarity and effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales utilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client locations, industry gatherings, and company headquarters as required.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, capable of working autonomously or in teams.
  • Possession of or eligibility for security clearance is preferred.
  • Certification in telephony systems (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Avaya ACSS, etc.) would be advantageous.
